eye-openerr.

so its been a whille...
this weekend i went to the NAIT open house. i can't believe it.
this weekend has really opened up my eyes. im getting ready to apply
for post secondary.. i can't believe it. i saw my dads friend don this weekend for the
first time since i was 13. and it really opened my eyes to how much has changed since then then i have my liscence, im graduating this year, my family has grown larger, i have 2 beautiful nephews, an amazing church family who i love, im in fuel, And now am getting ready to plan my future.
i found out that getting into this program is going to be harder than expected. If you don't know, im applying into the Radio Broadcasting program at NAIT. This is joined for the first semester with the television program. And so every semester intake, which is September and January 30 people are selected, 12 radio & 18 T.v out of 120 applicants for september and 50 in january. that kinda burst my bubble, i also foind out that i need at 75%+ avg in my grade 12 classes. which is kinda bad considering my avg's aren't usually that good.. and ive already taken chem 30 and got 66%.. im also in english 30-2 which also means that i have to upgrade my english to 30-1, so there goes my semester off, im planning to upgrade at NAIT so that wont be so bad, and i dont have to write another diploma, heckkk yes! and i'd start that in september and then start the course in january if i get accepted. since the program is incredibly competitive i have to do a career exploration, which means talking to 3 people in the industry and ask them questions about the job, and then write an essay. so thats the next step. I also found out that i can take a night course for 2 months called RTA, its offered every wednesday, from 7pm-10pm. This mark can replace my chem 30 mark. and hopefully if they see how much i really want to be in this field than it will give me and upper hand on getting accepted. Now i just have to focus on keeping my social and math marks up.. that will be a challenge.

I keep checking to see if you have updated. Finally. I know that you will do great in whatever field you chose to go in. I really hope this all works out for you. Keep up the hard work. I know you can do it. You have really grown up in the last number of years. It's neat to see how much you have grown up. I will be praying for you as you prepare for your future. Hey Cousin Sarah! Don't worry about NAIT to much, they said the same things to me about my course when I went there, it wasn't as dire as it sounded. I am confident you will do amazing and get in no problem. Rock on Cousin Sarah!

Awe thank you kirsten, i know it took me a while to update, i really appreciate that, and im glad you've been there to notice!
